Message: Lafayette House and their staff gave me a second chance at life and motherhood when my drug use had me believing i was a lost cause, and there was no hope. I had lost everything and destroyed all areas of my life. One day, I was coming down in a trap house and decided enough was enough. I called Lafayette and I was in treatment the next day. I never thought I could restore my life after addiction and live a life I'm proud of. If you need help getting back what your addiction has stolen from you, don't wait to call Lafayette House!

Message: The lafayette house was not a place I wanted to be when I got there, but when I was told it was there or the DOC I buckled my seat belt and took that ride. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I ever made. The staff are just the right mix of in your face truth and warm welcoming support and comfort that an addict needs. They are patient and almost always willing to give a hand in any way they can. They do get it because at one time almost all were addicts on the streets too. They will all fight for you as hard as you're willing to fight for yourself. They lafayette house probably saved my life, matter of fact I know it changed my life. It changed me. If you decide to get treatment for whatever your addiction may be, I know that be it your stay is 3 days or 45 days, you will not walk out those doors the same person you were as you walked in. I thank God for that place every day for giving me strength I thought had long been washed away. I went in a hopeless addict, and walked out sober, strong, confident, and smiling, ready to defeat any dragon in my path and a month out, am still just as strong. Thanks just isn't enough...

Message: This is a wonderful place for women to have to gain indepence and coping skills, however the amount of clients they take for residential programs is ridiculously high. In my opinion, it directly effects a suffering woman spiral downwards when other women are mean to her or treat her like a subordinate, rather than their peer.
